SUBJECT: Smokers in the SethLow park

Around the same time of the year when the weather is nice like during summer, SethLow park is an active playground for kids, teenagers, and adults. The issue is irresponsible adult smokers or emerging adulthood smokers around the area; smoking creates a smoke cloud that can be spread through the air and around the areas of the park. The smoke contains thousands of chemicals that are toxic to the body, so smoking around children and the result of secondhand smoke can cause health problems like an asthma attack and respiratory infection. A solution is to make the park a smoke-free zone. If anyone does break the guidelines, then they will have to pay a fine.

By regulating such acts will improve the environment of SethLow park. More importantly to provide a healthier public space for the children.
